Electric Space Odyssey is excited to be playing at The Phoenix Cafe Hazel Park. We are an acoustic/electric jazz-fusion, sci-fi, slap-guitar, experimental, progressive, blues, rock group consisting of myself (Luis Hirschlieb) on lead guitar and vocals, as well as Kevin Clinton on overall percussion! We are currently scouring the earth for our future bassist and drummer (who must be proficient in jazz theory and be readily experienced – interested folks contact us at Auditions@ElectricSpaceOdyssey.com).

The Corduroy Job is right out of Detroit, Michigan – these guys know how to play with sounds electronically – A.T. Webs plays the Plymouth Coffee Bean Co. open mic each monday and ROCKS the house using his combination of loop-effects, pentatonic-riffs, and jammin’ guitar riffs to get everyone moving!

Secret Buffalo is a descendant-band of Delta 9 (another awesome, yet now no-more local band that rocked hard) – we are excited to see how the sound has changed and grown even further. Electric Space Odyssey was excited to see these guys continue on partially under a new name, and in a very cool new direction.

Menes Guunah has also jumped on the bill, these are some really really really talented guys (and gals), they played their first show with ever at an event put on by Project: Union-Street at the Token Lounge back in 2015 and have gone on to develop musically, and as a team/band in spades. Between softly spoken background harmonies, chill reggae inspired beats, pop-rock inspired jams, Menes Guunah is not a band to be missed.

All in all, we also are proudly a member band of and represent the Project: Union-StreetUnion-Street artisan community – folks who own businesses and venues can promote them at Project: Union-Street – events posted on the group page will also be featured on our website, wishing everyone a happy holidays – more updates on this rockin’ event to come soon!
